During the free phone consultation, we will call or video chat with you and ask you questions about your medical history, level of fitness, current food habits. If you are happy for us to meet you; we will organise a suitable day and time to complete a fitness trial with you.
Once you have completed the free phone consultation we will meet with you to:
a) Complete a fitness assessment and
b) Complete a 30 minute PT session to see how your body moves and to see if mobile personal training is for you.
Fitness trial details
a) Fitness Assessment
Here we will perform:
A Flexibility Movement Screen (FMS): A FMS is where we test different parts of the body to establish any weaknesses and help find ways to strengthen those areas with a recommended stretch exercise program.
Measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, resting heart rate, body fat percentage and body measurements.
Optional assessment of aerobic capabilities, muscular strength and endurance (these are only used during the assessment stage depending on the goals of the client).
b) Personal training session
The session is usually 30 minutes. The purpose is to see how your body moves, your strength, weaknesses and limitations. It also helps us understand how we can personalise each workout program to suit your needs.
